Job Title: Material Resource Planning Controller – Buy (MRPC - Buy)

Randstad Sourceright, a global leader in RPO & MSP recruitment services, is proud to support Siemens Energy, a world-renowned innovator in sustainable power solutions, in the recruitment of a Material Resource Planning (MRP) Controller for its Aero Derivative Gas Turbine business. This key role supports the planning and delivery of components critical to Siemens’ master production schedule, ensuring supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Purchasing—particularly those with exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems, who can bring strong communication, analytical, and relationship management skills to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Build, maintain, and communicate delivery schedules for parts across the supply chain.
  • Evaluate and communicate the impact of demand changes to the Regional Purchase Manager.
  • Maintain accurate master and multi-level component planning data in SAP.
  • Manage inventory across the supply chain in line with business needs and customer timelines.
  • Ensure supplier commitments and deliveries are accurately reflected and managed in SAP.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage delivery schedules, new part introductions, and exception handling.
  • Lead operational reviews and continuous improvement activities with suppliers.
  • Monitor, report, and escalate shortages and recovery plans where required.
  • Evaluate supplier capacity constraints and their effect on delivery and quality metrics.


Key Skills / Experience Required:


Essential:


  • Experience in a relevant field (Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, or Purchasing).
  • Knowledge of inventory control, quality systems, and ERP (SAP or similar).
  • Strong communicator with robust problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to own development and support internal teams and customers.
  • Comfortable managing data accuracy and planning compliance in a structured process environment.


Desirable:


  • Prior experience in a turbine, aerospace, or high-complexity manufacturing supply chain.
  • Exposure to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Understanding of supplier capacity planning and business continuity practices.
