Building Inspector - Watford, Hertfordshire

North London (covering areas like Uxbridge, Hayes, Ealing, Hackney, Ilford, Harrow)

Role Overview

• Conduct plan checking and site inspections for residential and commercial projects
• Manage a busy caseload of regional building control projects
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards
• Quote new works, carry out consultations, and recommend final certificates

Ideal Candidate Profile

• BSR registration of Class 2 A, B, D plan checking and site inspection (desirable) with 2a as a minimum
• Expertise in plan checking and site inspections for residential and small commercial projects
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Valid driving licence for site visits
