Proposition Actuary, Life

Locations: London or Bristol

Salary: £85,000 +bonus and benefits

I am exclusively partnered with a leading Life Insurance firm in an exciting opportunity for a qualified actuary. You will drive proposition strategy and implementation within a successful Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) team. The team are going through a significant growth period as a bulk annuity provider.

The role

• Execution and implementation of BPA proposition strategy
• Lead knowledge in regard to DB pensions and the BPA market, relating to competitive propositions
• Communicating strategy changes to stakeholders and internal teams
• Develop and maintain external relationships (legal, third-party providers, trustees
• Working on a project basis

The individual

• FIA, fully qualified Actuary with 1-3 years post-qualification experience (total of 4-7 years)
• Strong UK DB pensions knowledge
• An understanding/ interest in the BPA and reinsurance market
• Strong communication skills
