Job Title: 1st Line IT Support Engineer

Location: Northampton (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote after probation)

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 (Depending on Experience)

Key Role Responsibilities

Handle and prioritise incoming service desk calls and escalated service requests.
Monitor and manage customer IT systems using diagnostic tools.
Ensure efficient communication and ticket resolution to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with 2nd and 3rd line teams to support more complex issues.
Maintain accurate documentation and customer communication logs.
Proactively escalate unresolved issues when needed.

Key Attributes Required

Previous experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows 10, Office 365, Exchange, and Windows Server 2019/2022.
Ability to set up and support mobile devices across multiple platforms.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and a proactive approach.
GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) and a valid UK driving licence.
