An established and highly regarded specialist in bespoke joinery and high-end interior fit-out is seeking a motivated Junior to Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a company delivering prestigious residential, commercial, and hospitality projects across London and the South East.

The Role:

You’ll support the Commercial and Project Teams in managing costs across multiple joinery and fit-out projects, from tender stage through to final account. You'll gain exposure to bespoke packages, liaise closely with the production team, and develop your understanding of high-spec materials, finishes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of tenders, budgets, and cost plans
• Reviewing drawings and specifications to assess scope of works
• Measuring and quantifying joinery elements from architectural drawings
• Assisting in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
• Valuing completed works and preparing interim and final valuations
• Supporting the negotiation and agreement of variations and final accounts
• Maintaining project documentation and assisting in cost reporting
• Attending site visits and meetings as required
• Liaising with internal design, workshop, and project management teams

Requirements:

• 1–4 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role (preferably within joinery, interiors, or fit-out)
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Confident communicator with good organisational skills
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with estimating or QS software is advantageous
