Leveraged Finance & Private Credit | 1-4 PQE | Mid-Market US Firm

Our client is a mid-market US firm with a broad lender and borrower-side banking practice, ranked in L500 and Chambers. They cover all areas of leveraged and acquisition finance, debt and direct lending, fund finance, real estate finance, restructuring, infrastructure and asset finance, but are now looking to further bolster their private credit & leveraged finance offering.

This firm's main strategy is to build a full-service finance practice. They recently hired a dedicated direct lending partner to supplement the leveraged finance practice, and are now seeking a junior-mid level Associate interested in specialising in private capital, while also assiting with broader banking matters.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm in its growth phase, benefitting from a lean team and good Associate:Partner ratio, contributing to progression. They also offer lower target hours than most other US practices and a favorable bonus compensation, providing one of the most attractive hours-to-pay balances.

Requirements for this role:

• London-based experience required
• UK or Common Law Qualified Associate with 1-4 years of finance experience
• leveraged finance, acquisition finance or private credit exposure required
• strong academics
