Are you a commercially minded legal professional ready to make a strategic impact in a global organisation? My client is looking for a Legal Counsel to join a dynamic and collaborative legal team, supporting a major business transformation programme and providing legal guidance across key group functions.

About the Role

As Legal Counsel, you’ll play a pivotal role in advising on complex legal matters related to a high-impact transformation initiative. You’ll work closely with senior legal and business stakeholders to drive projects from planning through to execution, ensuring legal risks are managed and business goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on legal aspects of strategic transformation projects, including commercial contracts, employment, environmental, and product liability matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal and business objectives.
• Manage external counsel relationships and review legal advice.
• Support group functions such as finance, tax, treasury, and shared services on a range of legal issues.
• Ensure timely communication and escalation of key legal matters to senior stakeholders.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE, ideally with a background in corporate law or in-house legal roles.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Experience in the industrial sector and additional language skills are a plus.
