Our client is a trusted market leader within the logistics sector.


They are seeking a talented and commercially minded Head of Legal to join their high performing team. In this pivotal and wide-ranging role, you will provide comprehensive legal support and strategic direction across all areas of the business, ensuring high levels of service across a range of Commercial, Company Secretarial, Governance and Regulatory services ensuring compliance with their legal, governance and regulatory obligations.


About the Role:

  • Proactively support the business’ goals through timely legal and governance services.
  • Lead and implement the group’s legal strategy and provide legal oversight across all operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee and lead a wide range of commercial contracts and provide end-end legal support on corporate transactional activity.
  • Maintain high standards of corporate governance, support the board, and manage company secretarial matters for all legal entities.
  • Act as Data Protection Officer for the group, advising on data governance and compliance.


Who You Are:

  • A UK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in both private practice and in-house roles.
  • Proven experience managing legal affairs across complex commercial contracts, IT, supply chain arrangements, corporate, governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience gained within the services or logistics industry or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, confident in supporting C-suite stakeholders.
  • A natural leader with excellent judgement, strategic vision and a results-oriented approach.
  • Strategic thinking with a keen eye for future trends.
  • A proactive, commercially focused mindset and ability to translate legal complexity into clear pragmatic guidance with a “get things done” attitude.
