Market Access Specialist – UK (Medical Devices / Health Economics)


Location: UK (Hybrid/Flexible)

Are you passionate about shaping access to innovative healthcare solutions? We’re looking for a Market Access Specialist to join a dynamic and forward-thinking commercial team. This is a pivotal role in driving value-based strategies and ensuring patient access to life-changing technologies across the UK healthcare landscape.


What You’ll Do

As a Market Access Specialist, you will:

  • Support the development and execution of value-based economic and reimbursement strategies
  • Engage with payers, HTAs, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to align with NHS funding mechanisms
  • Conduct payer data analysis to support sales and marketing strategies
  • Ensure appropriate Drug Tariff listings and manage related processes
  • Deliver internal training on NHS funding flows and market access trends
  • Monitor the external environment to identify opportunities for value capture
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop innovative campaigns that enhance the value proposition


What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Science, Medicine, Economics, or Engineering
  • Experience in pricing, reimbursement, and HTA processes
  • Experience in Bowel/ Incontinence/ IBS/ Colorectal would be highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of NHS funding flows and payment systems
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for healthcare innovation


Bonus Points For:

  • Experience working with Hospital Episode Statistics (HES) or hospital coding
  • Exposure to European market access (Germany, France, or Italy preferred)
