Trainee / Graduate Quantity Surveyor

An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing specialist contractor in Aberdeen. This contractor are involved in a variety of work from short 1-2 day turnaround projects to major lump sum works.

As a Graduate QS, you will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of the cost management process for designated projects. You will help to ensure that contracts are delivered on budget while upholding the company's high standards and values. Key responsibilities include supporting the commercial function with cost management, procurement, valuation of variations, contract administration, financial reporting, risk management, and compliance.

With an experienced senior management team and Commercial Manager in place, the role has a good support network in place, allowing for professional growth, and continuous training and development. You will be involved with innovative projects, working within a collaborative and proactive culture.

Application Requirements:

• HND or Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Strong IT skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
