Planned Project Surveyor – Property Safety

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Location: Flexible – travel across our Wiltshire, Hampshire and Berkshire

Hours: 37 hours per week


The Role

As a Planned Project Surveyor focused on Property Safety, you’ll take the lead in delivering a diverse portfolio of planned upgrade and installation works.


These include:

  • Passenger lift upgrades and modernisations
  • CCTV and door entry system installations
  • Platform lifts and stairlifts
  • Water hygiene projects, such as cold-water storage tank replacements


Working closely with Contract Managers, you’ll plan, manage, and monitor these works – always with a “safety first” mindset. You'll oversee contractor performance, quality assurance, and compliance, all while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with minimal disruption to residents.

Expect to work alongside internal teams, external consultants, and a range of stakeholders, acting as a technical lead and trusted voice in all things property safety.


What You’ll Bring

You’ll either hold one of the following qualifications or bring equivalent hands-on experience:


  • Level 3 Diploma or NVQ in Electrical Installations or Maintenance
  • Authorised Person Lift Management
  • Responsible Person or Duty Holder Training – Legionella in Hot & Cold-Water Systems


Alongside your credentials, you'll have:


  • Strong knowledge of property safety regulations in the social housing sector
  • Experience managing planned works contracts, budgets, and performance
  • Confidence using software to track progress and ensure compliance
  • A collaborative, clear communication style – with residents, contractors, and colleagues alike
  • Willingness to travel across regions, with occasional overnight stays
