Job Title: Head of Sales

Location: London, UK (with occasional travel across the UK, Europe, and North America)

Reporting to: Managing Director, Rupert Adams

Direct Reports: Boutique Team (4 staff in London), Warehouse & Dispatch Team (3 staff in Theale)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Head of Sales to lead and execute our retail, wholesale, and events-driven sales strategy. This pivotal leadership role will oversee our London boutique and warehouse operations while spearheading growth through curated retail partnerships, high-end wholesale relationships, and strategic expansion across the UK, Europe, and North America.


Key Responsibilities


1. Retail & Boutique Leadership

  • Lead and motivate the London boutique team, ensuring exceptional customer service, a deep understanding of brand values, and strong sales performance.
  • Develop and implement in-store events and seasonal selling campaigns to drive footfall and loyalty.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of boutique sales performance and customer insights.
  • Coordinate visual merchandising calendar and implementation.


2. Warehouse & Dispatch Oversight

  • Oversee operations in Theale, ensuring seamless communication between warehouse, boutique, and online orders.
  • Monitor dispatch performance, stock movement, and logistics to support sales growth.


3. Sales Strategy & Growth

  • Design and drive the UK retail and wholesale strategy targeting luxury boutiques, high-end retail stores, shooting schools, luxury hotel boutiques, and premium e-commerce platforms.
  • Identify and develop key wholesale accounts, ensuring effective onboarding and brand training for all partners.
  • Analyse sales performance, refine pricing strategies, and support seasonal buying cycles.
  • Work closely with E-Commerce team.


4. Event & Pop-up Planning

  • Create and execute a strategic calendar of country sporting, equestrian, and luxury lifestyle events to increase sales and build brand visibility.
  • Lead all operational planning and team coordination for pop-ups, including logistics, inventory, merchandising, and sales capture.


5. International Development

  • Devise a thoughtful wholesale and pop-up strategy for North America and Europe, with clear KPIs for growth and brand alignment.
  • Identify key markets and build relationships with distributors, agents, and retail partners aligned with our premium positioning.


6. Marketing Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing team to support event promotion, boutique marketing initiatives, and storytelling that resonates with our target customer.
  • Identify key online and offline selling opportunities throughout the year and ensure alignment across all channels.


7. Reporting & Management

  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, boutique and wholesale KPIs, and event outcomes to the Managing Director and the Really Wild board.
  • Lead regular sales reviews and maintain close oversight of stock levels, customer feedback, and market trends.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years of sales leadership experience in premium fashion or luxury retail.
  • Strong understanding of both retail and wholesale channels, with experience building international relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and event logistics.
  • Passionate about heritage fashion, craftsmanship, and countryside lifestyle.
  • Commercially astute with strong reporting and forecasting abilities.
  • Energetic, strategic, and hands-on leader who thrives in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.
