Legal Counsel - FMCG in Greater London

Job description

We’re working with a global consumer products powerhouse - home to some of the world’s most trusted personal care brands - as they look to hire a Legal Counsel for their UK & Ireland operations.

This is a great opportunity to join a business whose products are household staples around the globe, and where legal plays a proactive, collaborative role across commercial, regulatory, and compliance functions.

What you’ll do:

• Advise on a broad range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, data privacy, employment, IP, marketing, and consumer law.
• Support cross-functional teams across the UK and Ireland, acting as a true business partner.
• Get involved in everything from training on competition law to shaping promotional campaigns and advising on regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to regional and global legal projects, with exposure to international stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

• A UK-qualified lawyer with 3+ years’ PQE.
• Ideally, a mix of in-house and private practice experience, with time spent in FMCG or a regulated consumer-facing sector.
• A practical, commercial mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships across all functions.
