Job description

The Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work across the full spectrum of derivatives products – including rates, credit, FX, equities, commodities, and structured products – advising on trading, documentation, and regulatory developments.

You’ll be embedded within the business, partnering directly with traders, structurers, risk, and compliance teams to support complex, cross-asset transactions and provide strategic legal guidance on evolving regulatory frameworks.

What You'll Do:

• Provide legal advice and support on OTC and cleared derivatives across asset classes.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage trading documentation, including ISDA master agreements, CSAs, clearing and collateral arrangements.
• Advise on regulatory change implementation (e.g. EMIR, Dodd-Frank, UMR) and market infrastructure developments.
• Collaborate closely with front office and control functions across regions to enable trading activity and manage legal risk.
• Support global initiatives across capital markets and product innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in derivatives/structured products, gained in a top-tier law firm or in-house at a financial institution.
• Broad product coverage (any combination of rates, credit, FX, equity, commodities, structured/complex derivatives). However, experience in all products is not necessary.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance legal and business risk.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
