Job description

Our client is a premier post-trade market infrastructure provider who have built a successful consulting practice supporting their core functions. The growth of the consulting business is a key focus for 2025 and beyond with a particular emphasis on Regulatory Reporting. They have an immediate need for a MiFID lead, and are keen to speak with candidates with strong client facing experience.



The role:

  • Lead and manage high-impact consulting projects for financial services clients, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes
  • Work within a high calibre team which will carry out current state analysis of client operating models and identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks in response to evolving regulatory requirements, including MiFID, EMIR, CFTC, SFTR and other G20 regulatory reporting regimes
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, communicating with clarity and influence to support strategic decision-making
  • Drive business development efforts, including prospecting, proposal development, and closing new opportunities within assigned territories
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Relationship Management, Sales, and Marketing teams to identify and pursue new client opportunities
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and seminars to build brand visibility and expand professional networks
  • Mentor junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth


The person:

  • Must have 8-10 years of relevant experience which can be a combination of financial services and consulting but must include at least 4 years of consulting experience at a senior manager or manager level
  • Subject matter expertise in MiFID and G20 regulatory reporting regimes is essential
  • Experience working with executive and/or business leadership to manage expectations on engagements and build credibility
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to develop and execute on a go-to-market strategy and help increase market footprint and brand visibility
  • Ability to collaborate with others to achieve commercial success
