Speech and Language Therapist – Adult Neurorehabilitation

£38,000 – £48,000 per annum

Southport, Merseyside

Full-time, Permanent – Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Overview

Compass Associates are proud to partner with a leading independent provider of mental health and adult social care in the UK. We are currently recruiting for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team at a specialist residential neurorehabilitation service in Stockport.

The service supports up to 32 adults with acquired brain injuries, progressive neurological conditions, and complex physical health needs. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clinically rich environment focused on long-term rehabilitation and recovery.

You will work as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team that includes occupational therapist, clinical psychologist, physiotherapists, therapy assistants, nursing and care staff, an overseeing neurorehabilitation consultant, and a regional tracheostomy MDT.

Location

This role is commutable from Southport, Banks, Crossens, Churchtown, Tarleton, Meols Cop, Ainsdale, Preston, Ormskirk, Formby, Hesketh Bank, Liverpool, Leyland, Blackpool, and Wigan.

Responsibilities

As a Speech and Language Therapist in this setting, you will be responsible for delivering tailored assessment and intervention plans to support individuals with communication and swallowing difficulties. You will contribute to collaborative goal setting, care planning, and therapy delivery alongside the wider team.

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist
• Experience working with adults in neurorehabilitation settings is desirable
• Dysphagia trained
