The Opportunity

We're supporting a leading global financial institution in hiring a Legal Counsel (NQ–3 PQE) to join its high-performing Structured Products legal team in London.

This is a unique chance to work across the full lifecycle of structured products—from development and issuance through to global distribution and regulatory advisory.

You’ll cover a broad spectrum of products including:

• Structured notes
• Equity-linked derivatives
• Credit, FX, and OTC derivatives

You'll advise on cross-border deals involving London, Paris, New York, and Hong Kong, and work closely with senior stakeholders, front-office teams, and some of the most respected lawyers in the market.

What You’ll Do

• Advise on structuring, governance, and distribution of structured products
• Draft and negotiate complex agreements (distribution, trading, licensing)
• Provide commercially minded legal support on regulatory developments (MiFID II, FCA rules)
• Support legal risk management and policy implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front office, compliance, ops)
• Manage external counsel and contribute to legal knowledge-sharing

What We’re Looking For

• UK-qualified lawyer with NQ–3 PQE (flexible depending on experience)
• Exposure to structured notes, derivatives, or broader capital markets work
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Confident communicator, comfortable advising non-legal stakeholders
• Collaborative mindset and interest in fast-paced, high-performance teams
