Relocruitment is delighted to be partnering with one of the largest removals and storage firms in the UK. Operating a 1,200-container warehouse, they specialise in logistics and storage solutions.


As a Management Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the senior management team, directly reporting to the Managing Director. This role demands versatility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently manage a diverse range of tasks.


This is a permanent, full-time position based on-site at our client’s Dartford offices, and you must be able to reliably commute to this location.


Role and Responsibilities:


  • Recruitment Support: Assist with recruitment drives, including creating role profiles, liaising with agencies, and conducting initial applicant filtering.
  • Supplier Management: Manage relationships with existing and new suppliers, negotiate pricing and service levels, and process purchase orders.
  • HR Support: Provide comprehensive HR assistance to the senior management team across various HR functions.
  • Compliance Management: Organise compliance reviews, address action points, and manage the company’s ISO 9001/14001/45001 accreditations.
  • Health and Safety: Manage health and safety protocols, including reviewing and updating key documentation (risk assessments, etc.).
  • Audit Assistance: Support internal and external audits for various certifications.
  • Executive Assistance: Serve as a PA to the Managing Director and Production Director, managing schedules and correspondence.
  • General Office Management: Oversee stationery, uniform, PPE management, and manage interactions with visitors and suppliers.


Skills and Attributes:


  • Proven experience in an administrative or management support role, ideally within the relocation, transport, or logistics sector.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confidence in engaging with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of adaptability, able to tackle new tasks independently and effectively.
  • Familiarity with ISO certifications and compliance management is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
