EMEA Client Services Associate, Alternative Investment Manager


London, Hybrid, Competitive Salary + Bonus


An established global asset manager is looking for a Client Services Associate to join their EMEA Client team, supporting operations across a diverse range of alternative investment products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced team responsible for delivering a high-touch client experience to wealth and intermediary clients across the region.


The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing, operationally-minded position with strong project management elements. You’ll play a critical part in onboarding new distributors, managing day-to-day client operations, and coordinating with third-party service providers and internal teams across compliance, legal, and fund operations.


Key Responsibilities

Client Operations & Ongoing Support

  • Act as a primary point of contact for wealth management platforms and distributors across Europe
  • Provide hands-on, white-glove support to clients throughout the full lifecycle – from prospecting to post-sale servicing
  • Manage ongoing subscription, redemption and capital call processes for a suite of fund structures
  • Maintain and update internal and external databases (e.g. FE Fundinfo, Allfunds)
  • Oversee the trailer fee process and contribute to reporting and analytics, including KPI and board materials


Onboarding & Project Coordination

  • Lead the onboarding process for new distribution partners in close collaboration with sales and operational teams
  • Coordinate distribution agreements and liaise with external service providers (e.g. Caceis, iCapital, Allfunds, Clearstream)
  • Ensure all operational readiness steps are executed efficiently across internal stakeholders including compliance, fund controllers, and legal
  • Assist in new product onboarding, helping define the operational set-up and support structure


Process Improvement & Relationship Management

  • Build strong working relationships with 3rd party platforms and internal cross-functional teams
  • Seek out and implement process enhancements to improve service quality and efficiency
  • Support regional and global client management initiatives, ensuring alignment with firmwide best practices


What the Client are Looking For

  • Experience in client service, onboarding, or operational support within the asset management, wealth management, or fund administration space
  • Previous exposure to the Global Wealth or intermediated distribution market is essential
  • A natural project manager – organised, resourceful, and comfortable juggling multiple workstreams
  • Client-first mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to high standards and effective execution
  • Comfortable working across global teams and time zones in a high-performing, fast-paced environment
