System Evaluation and Selection Expert in Newcastle Upon Tyne

Job description

Our client in the insurance sector is seeking a Systems Evaluation and Selection expert to create an RFP for their Finance Transformation project. To be considered, you must have insurance sector experience where you have performed the points below as part of an RFP process.

The remit will include:

Comprehensive Discovery

- Conducting a full review of finance processes and systems, including end-to-end mapping, tool usage, pain points, and opportunities for automation and system improvement.

Harmonisation Recommendations

- Providing short and long-term recommendations to align and streamline processes, systems, and data handling.

Future Systems Architecture

- Assessing and recommending future finance technology solutions (e.g. Core accounting platforms, automation tools), including guidance on whether to consolidate systems.

Technology Enablement

-Proposing supporting technologies such as AI, automation, and low-code platforms to improve efficiency.

Target Operating Model (TOM)

- Defining a future-state operating model across people, process, and technology—including structure, skills, and cultural alignment.

Modernisation Roadmap

- Delivering a high-level roadmap to guide finance transformation and system implementation for 2025/26.
