Social Worker - MAP
Salary: £40,929 - £43,735 (+ £6,000 retention)
Location: Victoria Gate, Chobham Road, Woking, Surrey, GU21 6JD
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 36 Hours Per Week, 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday

Surrey County Council’s MAP team, based in the brand-new Victoria Gate office in Woking, is looking for a Social Workers!
This is a non-case holding role with regular hours — perfect if you’re a working parent or carer, or if you simply need flexibility in your working day.
The office benefits from three dedicated car parks with subsidised parking, making your commute hassle-free, and is in a central location surrounded by cafes, shops and restaurants.
Not a driver? The nearest train station is a 5 minute walk away!
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct multi-agency safeguarding assessments, working alongside police, health, education, and other partners.
- Provide expert advice and support within a collaborative team.
- Help shape safeguarding plans to protect vulnerable children and families.
- Contribute to service improvements and effective partnership working.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Social Worker with current SWE registration.
- Experience in safeguarding or multi-agency partnership working.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong assessment, decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- A commitment to making a real difference in children’s lives.
