Procurement Specialist in City of London

Job description

As the Procurement Specialist you will be joining a prestigious professional services firm looking to professionalise its procurement function, working closely with the Head of Procurement. This is a broad role with exposure to all indirect categories covering the full end to end procurement process providing an excellent opportunity for someone to develop into a Procurement Manager. Key responsibilities:

• End-to-end procurement activities; benchmarking, RFx activity, contract negotiation, relationship management (SRM) and supplier transition management.
• Improve alignment with key stakeholders to create and lead category strategies.
• Work with business partners on managing performance of contracts to drive improvements.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, establishing proactive and appropriate levels of governance.
• Prepare, challenge, and negotiate beneficial commercial contracts.
• Manage and update contract and supplier databases.
• Engagement with key suppliers in developing responsible procurement strategies.

To be considered:

• Procurement Analyst / Category Specialist / Procurement Manager
• Experience across broad indirect categories including IT / Tech.
• Excellent negotiating and communication skills.
• Proven track record of adding value and delivering savings to commercial agreements.

On Offer:

• £50,000 - £60,000.
• 3 days / week in London.
