Job description
Job Title: Media Supply Chain Product Owner
Location: Central London
Reports to: VP of Product
We are seeking a seasoned Product Owner with hands-on experience in Media Supply Chain and MAM (Media Asset Management) systems. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in building and delivering a brand-new MAM platform as part of our client’s global Digital Transformation Programme.
You’ll have the autonomy to shape a product from the ground up, define best-in-class workflows, and work with a global user base to drive value across the organization. This role offers the perfect challenge for someone looking to own a product in a “greenfield” environment, and influence how content is managed and distributed worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the MAM Product Vision
- Own and execute the product strategy aligned with the organisation’s wider media supply chain goals. Define the roadmap, advocate for continuous improvement, and ensure wide adoption across the business.
- Business Ownership
- Act as the voice of the business, developing a deep understanding of operational needs. Ensure the MAM platform meets evolving requirements for metadata, access, integrations, workflows, and storage.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Lead the MAM Product Council. Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendors, and consultants. Facilitate workshops, governance meetings, and maintain transparent communication with all parties.
- Requirements Gathering & Prioritisation
- Collaborate with global teams to document, refine, and prioritise requirements. Balance business needs and competing demands across markets to deliver value through thoughtful feature development.
- Product Development Oversight
- Manage the full product lifecycle—from backlog management and user stories to acceptance testing and go-live. Work closely with developers, architects, and third-party vendors to deliver seamless releases.
- System Configuration & Support
- Act as Super Admin for the application—configure user access, troubleshoot issues, and oversee security compliance. Define and implement integration requirements with third-party systems.
- Performance & Analytics
- Define KPIs, SLAs and support analytics to measure performance and optimise user engagement.
About the Product
The Media Asset Management (MAM) system will be a globally accessible platform for cataloguing our client’s digital master assets—final content masters, promo materials, cue sheets, and more. It will support end-to-end media workflows including edit, localisation, and distribution. As a core component of the company’s media supply chain, the MAM will enable more consistent, efficient, and scalable operations across global teams.
