Job description

Game District is seeking a talented Game UI Artist to join our team and craft visually appealing, intuitive user interfaces for our mobile games. In this role, you will be responsible for designing UI elements, from initial concept to final implementation, working closely with designers, developers, and artists to ensure an exceptional player experience.


This is a global position that requires collaboration with international teams. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engaging, user-friendly interfaces (menus, HUDs, icons, and overall game UI).
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and final assets that align with the project’s visual direction and style.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (game design, development, and art) to ensure cohesive visuals and seamless user experiences.
  • Iterate and refine UI designs based on feedback, user testing data, and technical constraints.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably within the gaming industry.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality UI designs and relevant game or app experience.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory.
  • Experience in a similar role in game development.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mobile game development and an understanding of mobile UI/UX constraints.
  • Familiarity with Unity or other game engines and version control systems.
  • Previous experience in game development companies and/or shipped game titles.
