Job Title: Estimator – Fit Out & Refurbishment Contractor

Location: London

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: £Dependent on Experience

Our Client are a growing fit out and refurbishment contractor who have been seeing year on year growth since they started trading a few years ago. They have been delivering projects ranging from £50,000 - £5million, typically commercial office projects in and around the city.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates for commercial fit out projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine accurate pricing
• Maintain and develop pricing databases and cost benchmarks
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks during the estimation process
• Work with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information
• Provide input into tender submissions and support negotiations where required
• Track cost variances throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the fit out and refurbishment sector sector
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Relevant qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (HNC/HND/Degree)
