Legal Technologist in Greater London

DVF Recruitment is looking for an Legal Technologist in Greater London

Job description

Legal Innovation Analyst – Global Law Firm | London

I’m currently working in partnership with a prestigious global law firm that’s looking to bring a Legal Innovation Analyst on board to join their forward-thinking Practice Tech and Innovation team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a passion for legal tech and process improvement who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

About the Role:

As a Legal Innovation Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the adoption and development of legal tech tools across the firm’s global practices. You’ll be working closely with lawyers and internal business services teams to drive innovation through smarter processes, tech solutions, and cutting-edge tools – including Gen AI platforms such as Harvey, Copilot, Kira, HighQ Collaborate, Legatics, and the Microsoft 365 Suite.

This is a highly collaborative role, acting as a bridge between legal teams and innovation functions – think part legal translator, part consultant, part tech champion. You’ll be hands-on in delivering quick-win solutions while also supporting wider transformation projects across the firm.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Drive adoption of legal tech tools, providing training and support to lawyers and teams (Kira, Legatics, etc.)
  • Partner with legal and business services teams to understand their workflows and identify opportunities for tech-driven improvement
  • Translate legal use cases into innovative solutions, often acting as the link between the lawyers and the innovation team
  • Lead or support delivery of new solutions – from idea through to launch, including training and post-implementation support
  • Use tools such as Gen AI, automation platforms, and data analytics to create efficiencies and enhance client service delivery
  • Play a key role in onboarding new joiners on legal tech best practices and the firm’s tools
  • Work on needs assessments, proof-of-concepts, and pilot projects, always focused on quick, impactful results
  • Engage in stakeholder management, helping ensure buy-in and adoption of new tools and solutions

What We’re Looking For:

We’re open to different backgrounds – maybe you’re legally trained with a passion for tech, or you’ve been working with innovation or legal tech in a law firm/professional services setting. Most important is that you’re curious, solutions-driven, and keen to experiment with new ideas.

  • Experience using legal tech tools such as Harvey, Copilot, Kira, HighQ, Legatics, or similar
  • Strong communication skills – able to simplify complex technical concepts for a legal audience
  • Comfortable delivering training and demos to varied audiences
  • Business analysis mindset – able to assess pain points, gather requirements, and translate them into tangible solutions
  • Detail-oriented, highly organised, and proactive in driving change
  • Self-starter, with a collaborative approach and strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Exposure to design thinking, legal process improvement, or Gen AI tools is a big plus

Bonus Points:

  • French language skills (oral and written)
  • Exposure to agile or innovation methodologies (Design Thinking, Storyboarding, “Jobs to be Done”, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a law firm or legal tech setting

This is a fantastic role for someone who’s excited about the future of legal innovation and wants to make a real impact across a global firm. If you’re looking for a role where you can blend tech, legal, and consulting skills – and have the freedom to explore new ideas – I’d love to hear from you.
