Head of HR


Our NHS client is looking for a Head of HR to lead the delivery of all aspects of HR

including: business partnering, change management, employee relations, HR policy

and practice, employee engagement & belonging, health and wellbeing, reward and

benefits, workforce intelligence and performance and provide oversight for learning

and OD/development.


You will be responsible for;

  • Effectively leading and directing the business partnering team to drive value,

improvements and innovation in the delivery of people services leading or

contributing programmes of change management and integrated working in

partnership with colleagues across the Integrated Care System (ICS)

providing business partnering services to the Executive team

  • Supporting the Executive team to deliver the wider operational and strategic

objectives of the organisation

  • Supporting programmes to drive improvements in recruitment and retention,

staff wellbeing, belonging and inclusion, talent management & succession

planning

  • Ensuring that the People and OD strategy is translated to deliver meaningful

impact and outcomes, aligned to the NHS People plan and NHS People

Day to day

  • Ensure day to day leadership and co-ordination of the HR team and work in

partnership with colleagues.

  • Support recruitment, retention and stability through effective workforce

planning, aligned to current and future skills needs, working effectively within

budget.

  • Ensure the delivery of a high quality, effective and cost-effective specialist and

operational people service, with a strong focus on collaboration and building

leadership and management capability.

  • Ensure robust processes are in place for recruitment and retention and

establishment control.

  • Lead the development of the HRBP team, to enable effective facilitation of

change and transformation.

  • Provide a senior business partnering service to the Executive team.
  • Develop workforce benchmarks and key performance indicators ensuring that

the information is used to contribute effectively to the business and financial

management of the organisation.
