Aldwych Consulting Ltd is looking for an Project Quantity Surveyor in City of London

Job description

Exclusive Opportunity: Project Quantity Surveyor – Award-Winning Construction Consultancy

Central London | Permanent, Full-Time | Project & Cost Management

I've partnered exclusively with a well-established, independent construction consultancy that has been delivering standout results for over 30 years. With a rich portfolio that spans residential, commercial, industrial, and a growing niche in entertainment, leisure, and heritage sectors, this is a rare opportunity to work on some of London’s most distinctive and challenging projects.

This consultancy is known for its low staff turnover, exceptional training, and commitment to growing talent from within. If you're looking to step into a role where you can take ownership of exciting work — from £250k to £60m in value — and genuinely build a long-term career, this is it.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading pre-contract duties including cost planning and tender preparation
  • Managing projects throughout the full lifecycle — from early stage through to completion
  • Working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-in-class outcomes

What They’re Looking For:

  • Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with 3+ years in a consultancy environment
  • Either recently chartered (MRICS) or working towards APC
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ready to take ownership of your own projects, with support where needed

What You’ll Get in Return:

  • Tailored APC support and structured development for newly chartered surveyors
  • Genuine variety — projects across heritage, leisure, commercial and more
  • A collaborative and respected team with a flat structure
  • Competitive salary and transparent progression path
  • Continuous CPD, mentoring and training in a supportive environment

This is not a generic consultancy role — it’s a rare chance to work with a firm that combines interesting projects, real support, and long-term progression.
