Overview


Our client, a leading US law firm with a strong presence in London, is seeking a talented and driven Capital Markets Associate to join its busy and growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-profile cross-border transactions with an international client base, alongside market-leading partners.


Key Responsibilities


Advise issuers, underwriters and sponsors on a broad range of capital markets transactions, including:


  • Debt and equity offerings
  • IPOs and secondary offerings
  • High-yield bond offerings and investment grade debt
  • Private placements and liability management transactions
  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents such as offering memoranda, underwriting agreements, indentures and related ancillary documentation.
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional deal processes and coordinate with local counsel.
  • Assist with securities law compliance, ongoing disclosure obligations and corporate governance matters.
  • Support business development initiatives, client pitches and thought leadership.


Candidate Profile


  • Qualified with 2-6 years’ post-qualification experience at a top-tier international or US firm.
  • Strong experience across capital markets transactions (debt, equity or both). High-yield experience would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines, often across time zones.
  • Commercial mindset and willingness to take ownership and build client relationships.
  • Enthusiastic team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
