I’ve been instructed by a fast-growing, dynamic, technology-driven e-commerce business to support them in hiring a Corporate Counsel. The company has an ambitious growth strategy, underpinned by a history of multiple acquisitions and integrations. As a privately owned business, corporate legal expertise is a critical component of their continued success and future.

The role:

Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will play a key role in advising on corporate governance, general corporate matters, and M&A transactions when they arise. The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape the legal infrastructure of a growing, acquisitive business.

This position would suit a lawyer with solid corporate and M&A experience who is eager to broaden their remit and take on a varied, business-facing role.

About You:

• UK Qualified lawyer with 2+ post-qualification experience.

• Strong M&A and corporate transactional background, ideally gained in private practice.

• Commercially pragmatic, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in private equity-backed or acquisitive businesses is advantageous but not essential.
