Corporate New Business Lead in Leatherhead

Bamboo Fundraising Recruitment is looking for an Corporate New Business Lead in Leatherhead

Job description

Corporate New Business Lead

Leatherhead (some travel)

Salary: Up to £34,000

Full-time or potentially part time (4 days)

Bamboo are partnered with, Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, who support families with a seriously ill or terminally ill child. It’s sensitive, important work—and like most charities, it depends heavily on funding to continue.

They’re looking for someone to focus on bringing in new corporate partners. This isn’t a high-pressure sales role, but it does require someone who’s confident speaking to businesses, proactive in finding opportunities, and comfortable writing clear, thoughtful proposals.

What the job involves

This is a standalone new business role within a small and collaborative fundraising team. You’ll be:

  • Finding and approaching potential corporate partners
  • Building relationships and identifying mutual value
  • Writing and presenting partnership proposals (some five- and six-figure)
  • Managing the new business pipeline and keeping everything up to date in the CRM
  • Helping organise occasional webinars and networking events

You’ll be supported by the wider Corporate and Community Fundraising team, but this role is very much focused on bringing new opportunities through the door.

Who this might suit

You might be someone with experience in corporate fundraising—or someone from a commercial sales, partnerships, or account management background who wants to use their skills in a more meaningful context.

What matters most is that you’re comfortable starting conversations, managing a pipeline, writing well, and following through. The team is friendly and down-to-earth, so being collaborative and easy to work with is also important.

About the charity

Rainbow Trust is a national charity providing emotional and practical support to families when they need it most. The work is challenging, but it’s grounded in care, community, and trust.

This role is based at their Leatherhead head office, with occasional travel and the flexibility to work from home some of the time. The team is small, so you’ll have the space to shape your work and get involved in wider projects if you’re interested.

The practical details

  • Salary: Up to £34,000
  • Location: Leatherhead (with hybrid working)
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent
  • Extras: Good pension, leave, supportive culture, and a chance to see the impact of your work

If this sounds like a fit—or even just something you'd like to learn more about—please get in touch or apply.
