Tekla Detailer in Birmingham

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tekla Detailer to join our dynamic team based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering precise and efficient detailing services for light gauge steel frame buildings and transfer structures. As a key member of our design and detailing team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring project deadlines are met, working closely with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely outputs. 

About the role:

• Utilising core Tekla features as well as bespoke Tekla components to create accurate 3D models of light gauge steel frame buildings and transfer structures.
• Producing and checking general arrangements, fabrication drawings, and CAM data.
• Producing erection drawings for each site.
• Taking a lead role to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Using the Company's in-house works management systems (training will be provided).
• Liaising with other staff, customers, and the design team to help ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
• Developing project specific details alongside other members of the design team.
• Any other duties necessary.
