Job description
A leading London-based studio is looking for midweight and senior Wayfinding Designers to join their growing team, working across a diverse portfolio of global projects. With a strong focus on user-centred design and spatial experience, this is a unique opportunity to develop creative and strategic wayfinding solutions in collaboration with renowned architects and international clients.
What you’ll be doing
The successful candidate will join a forward-thinking studio that blends architectural precision with a deep understanding of how people navigate and experience space. The studio specialises in large-scale multifaceted projects, working closely with clients to deliver holistic solutions spanning wayfinding strategy, user experience, architecture, urban design, and beyond. This is a hands-on design role requiring someone who is equally confident crafting detailed information design as they are thinking about large-scale strategy. From analysing spatial flows to developing thoughtful, user-first wayfinding systems, the role offers an opportunity to work on projects that are as conceptual as they are technically rigorous.
The studio is small, collaborative, and multi-disciplinary, so flexibility, initiative, and a proactive mindset are essential. Designers are encouraged to work across all areas of the process, contributing to design, planning, documentation, and delivery.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- A background in spatial, information or graphic design.
- Proven experience working on wayfinding or environmental graphics projects
- Strong conceptual thinking with a user-centred mindset
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills; working knowledge of CAD and 3D tools is a bonus
- An analytical approach and ability to translate complex information into clear design
- Confident communication skills—able to articulate ideas clearly in written and verbal form
What you’ll get in return for your experience
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, globally recognised studio at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and design. The close-knit team offers a supportive and collaborative environment, with benefits including a work-away exchange program with their European office, learning and development opportunities, and regular team socials.
