Reserving Actuary in City of London

Job description

I am currently working with a global specialty insurer operating in the Lloyd’s market, they are looking for a Reserving Actuary to join their team.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical/analytical background as well as excellent communication skills. You will be required to lead meetings with underwriters and claims teams to determine the scope and direction of deep-dive analyses.

You will be required to support on quarterly reviews of reserves across international group platforms and deliver Solvency II technical provisions along with the associated regulatory/Lloyd’s returns.

Advanced Excel skills are required as well as experience with programming languages such as VBA, SQL, Python, or R.

I am looking to speak with recently qualified candidates with a minimum of 3 years of core reserving experience within the London Market.

The role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in the London office.
