Legal Manager / COLP – New Era in Consumer Law

Location: London | Full-time | Office-based for first 6 months | Permanent

We’re hiring a Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) to join a brand-new, family office-backed law firm at the forefront of consumer claims — including mis-selling, motor, bank fraud, and housing disrepair.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior legal operations role at the start of something big, with the backing and ambition to scale fast.

About the Role

As Legal Manager / COLP, you’ll:

• Lead on regulatory compliance and risk management
• Develop and implement policies aligned with SRA, AML, and GDPR requirements
• Shape internal frameworks and structure as the firm grows
• Support legal operations and oversee regulatory reporting, complaints handling, and file audits
• Be a key voice in leadership — with real influence from day one

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience in a COLP, legal operations, or compliance leadership role

✅ In-depth knowledge of SRA Standards, AML, and data protection

✅ A qualified solicitor, legal exec, or compliance expert with law firm experience

✅ Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

✅ Based in London and happy to work 5 days on-site for the first 6 months
