New Opportunity: Account Handler – Financial Institutions (Specialty Division)

Leeds | Competitive Salary + 7% Pension + Hybrid (up to 2 days WFH)

We’re partnering with a leading UK insurance broker that’s expanding its specialist Financial Institutions division — and they’re offering a fantastic opportunity for Account Handlers ready to take their career in a more specialist direction.

This role is perfect for someone from a general commercial insurance background who’s looking to step into the world of hedge funds, private equity firms, stockbrokers, and private banks.

What You’ll Be Doing

✔ Supporting Account Directors with servicing and retaining high-profile clients

✔ Preparing client presentations and responding to market queries

✔ Working closely with underwriters across the Lloyd’s and London Markets

✔ Providing technical advice and maintaining strong client relationships

✔ Developing specialist knowledge within financial institutions

✔ Learning from experienced colleagues in a collaborative, expert team

Who We're Looking For

✔ Experience in commercial broking (some financial lines/professional risks preferred, but not essential)

✔ OR experience in corporate banking or legal sectors with a desire to move into insurance

✔ Strong communication, analytical and relationship-building skills

✔ Cert CII (or willing to work towards it)

✔ A proactive, ambitious attitude to long-term career growth
