We’re partnered with a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out company who are looking for a passionate and technically skilled sustainability professional to help shape the future of low-carbon construction across the UK. What You’ll Do
- Drive Innovation: Lead the development of Net Zero Carbon (NZC) strategies for new builds, refurbishments, and retrofits - bringing fresh thinking and practical solutions to every stage of the project lifecycle.
- Empower Teams: Support the Business Development teams with the knowledge and tools they need to have confident, informed conversations with clients about decarbonisation.
- Win Work: Take the lead on crafting compelling, high-quality NZC bid responses that help secure meaningful, future-focused projects.
- Be a Voice: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums - raising their profile as a trusted leader in sustainable construction.
- Shape the Future: Use data, design insights, and delivery experience to influence national decarbonisation strategies and help define what great looks like in low-carbon building.
Who We’re Looking For
- Carbon Confident: You’re up to date with UK NZC standards and have hands-on experience delivering decarbonisation across public sector projects.
- Well-Connected: You’ve built trusted relationships in the industry and understand how to bring client projects to market through established frameworks.
- Digitally Fluent: You’re comfortable using tools like One Click LCA and digital design models to inform carbon optioneering and decision-making.
- Great Communicator: You can translate complex technical ideas into clear, engaging messages for a wide range of audiences - from clients to colleagues.
- Strategic and Practical: You understand the full building lifecycle and know how to embed carbon reduction at every stage - from concept to aftercare.
