About the Role - Manage and optimize supply chain operations across Calibre Scientific’s UK distribution businesses, overseeing purchasing teams, forecasting, inventory, and supplier performance. This role drives working capital efficiency, improves availability of mission-critical SKUs, and supports system harmonization across locations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage demand planning.
• Implement inventory optimization strategies.
• Monitor and improve supplier OTIF and negotiate lower MOQs.
• Lead cross-site purchasing processes and standardize buying practices.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, and Finance to run weekly S&OP.
• Establish vendor scorecards and supplier performance reviews.
• Coach and manage a team of buyers across two sites.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Full UK Driving License required.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP or CIPS preferred.

Required Skills:

• Expert level in Microsoft Office, Excel (advanced), and Power BI.
• ERP experience (SAP ByDesign or SAP Business One preferred).
