Head of Product | Stealth AI Startup | London (Hybrid)

We’re an AI innovation company backed by a top-tier VC, building products that will redefine the retail experience. Currently in stealth mode, we’re blending cutting-edge advances in behavioural science, Generative AI, and reinforcement learning to create systems that anticipate and serve customer needs in radically new ways.

We're seeking a visionary Head of Product to lead our next phase of growth. This pivotal role is for someone who combines deep AI product expertise with commercial foresight, a strong design sensibility, and relentless precision in execution. You'll own the complete lifecycle of our product suite, transforming nascent concepts into market-leading, intuitively elegant, and deeply loved solutions, driving both user delight and significant commercial impact.

This isn't a traditional product management role – it's an AI product leadership position demanding a unique blend of strategic thinking and hands-on guidance for someone who:

• Identifies market white spaces and customer friction points to offer genuinely novel and innovative solutions.
• Translates complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling user value propositions, ensuring every model, interaction, and output contributes directly to defined business outcomes and customer delight.
• Acts as the crucial link between cutting-edge research, data strategy, technical feasibility, ethical AI principles, and impactful product delivery.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Define and articulate the overarching product strategy and roadmap, collaborating closely with our Chief Innovation Officer to identify high-impact applications for retail.
• Translate complex AI/ML capabilities into actionable product requirements, working hand-in-hand with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, and UX/UI designers.
• In collaboration with our Head of UX/UI, envision and design intuitive human-AI interactions, ensuring our systems are both functional and delightful for end-users.
• Consistently empathise with the end user, driving a meticulous focus on both the form and function of our products.

Essential Skills

• Proven product leadership experience specifically launching and scaling AI-driven products in B2C SaaS or retail-tech, with a demonstrated understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of AI.
• Strong commercial instincts and experience translating product vision into business results.
• A deep understanding of user-centred product development and how it aligns with business objectives.
• Track record of shipping high-quality, commercially successful features quickly and iteratively.
• Ability to think strategically about market fit and competitive advantage, while being hands-on and detail obsessed.
• Comfortable working with agile and lean methodologies.

Desired Skills

• Background in behavioural economics, cognitive science, or psychology, with an understanding of how these fields inform AI-driven user experiences.
• Experience in a stealth or rapidly scaling startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and building from the ground up.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and responsible AI frameworks.
