  • Proven hands-on experience in:
  • Planar transformer design and layout using PCB-based windings.
  • SiC and GaN power device implementation in real-world power converter designs.
  • High-voltage LLC resonant converter topologies.
  • High-frequency gate drive circuits and power stage integration.
  • Strong analytical and simulation skills using tools such as LTspice, PLECS, Altium, ANSYS, or equivalent.
  • Experience with lab equipment and test procedures for high-voltage power electronics.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative engineering environment.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation techniques in power converters.
  • Experience in thermal modelling and magnetic material characterisation.
  • Familiarity with digital control of power converters (e.g., using DSP or MCU platforms).

What We Offer:

  • A chance to work at the forefront of power electronics innovation.
  • Flexible and dynamic working environment in the heart of Cambridge.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunities for technical and professional growth.
