Job Scope & Responsibilities – Associate
As an Associate, you will support the execution of a broad range of corporate finance mandates across transaction advisory, structured financing, and capital solutions. Working closely with senior team members, you will contribute to high-impact projects for clients across various sectors and geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Transactions & Strategic Advisory
- Assist in the execution of corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct company valuations, industry research, and financial due diligence.
- Support the development of strategic recommendations and prepare client-facing documents and pitch materials.
- Build and manage complex financial models to evaluate deal structures and scenarios.
2. Structured and Project-Based Financing
- Support the structuring and execution of financing solutions for asset-based and infrastructure-related investments.
- Develop robust financial models and conduct scenario analysis to inform funding strategies.
- Liaise with lenders, advisors, and technical consultants during financing processes.
- Assist with credit papers, commercial negotiations, and financial close activities.
3. Private Capital Fundraising
- Contribute to private capital raise mandates for investment vehicles across infrastructure, real assets, and related strategies.
- Prepare investor materials including offering documents, teasers, and investor presentations.
- Assist in identifying and engaging institutional capital providers and managing end-to-end fundraising processes.
- Coordinate data room management, investor due diligence, and ongoing communications
4. Financial Structuring & Balance Sheet Advisory
- Work with clients to assess financing options and capital structure optimisation strategies.
- Provide analytical support for refinancing, recapitalisations, and liquidity planning initiatives.
- Prepare client deliverables to support funding decisions and capital allocation planning.
- Stay informed on market trends and investor appetite to inform client recommendations.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, advisory, or structured finance.
- CFA or ACA qualification (completed or near completion).
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing capabilities.
- Highly motivated team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
