Our client is a global leader in the nuclear energy industry.



The Role:

As a Project Scheduler (Planner) for a high-profile project, you will:

  • Create, monitor, and analyse the Level 2 (Full project duration)/Level 3 schedule (12-18 months term) on the allocated engineering scope in accordance with standard of best project practice
  • Monitor project progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date
  • Provide permanent support to project and technical teams in the optimisation of their schedules integrating also the constraints of the customer/suppliers.
  • Identify interfaces at the assigned perimeter, and ensure that they are properly connected to other perimeters
  • Analyse activities on the critical path to identify the possible impact of delays, analyse deviations and propose appropriate actions to project managers
  • Follow up on project milestones, alert in case of delays and participate in the definition of the recovery plan
  • Participate in the calculation of physical progress and Earned Value Management and analyse the results
  • Take part in the quantification of planning impacts in the event of changes in the scope of the contract
  • Contribute to periodic planning reports and KPI’s analysis
  • Work closely with the L4 schedulers to link these levels that are in different tools
  • Actively participates to the planning community
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of methods & tools.



Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree is mandatory, Master’s degree is desirable
  • Engineering or technical background
  • Experience in project management with proven ability in project scheduling and timeline coordination.
  • Experience of Primavera P6 or at least another scheduling tool (MS project/Planisware)
  • Experience on a major industrial project, if possible in the nuclear industry.
  • Understanding of Civil Work, Layout and Electro-mechanical engineering sequence of activities
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken) and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, initiative and ability to work as part of a team
  • Customer-oriented and ability to interact with various levels of stakeholders
