Hybrid (Manchester or Peterborough offices)

Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 + Bonus + Benefits (d.o.e)

Are you looking for your next role in General Insurance Personal Lines Pricing?

We're looking for a Head of Modelling & Optimisation to drive the end-to-end delivery of pricing models and analytical solutions across our general insurance products.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll lead a skilled team of pricing professionals, shape model design and strategy, and help build a best-in-class pricing function powered by statistical innovation and commercial focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the development and execution of predictive pricing models
• Lead innovation in pricing analytics and modelling approaches
• Oversee our tailor-made pricing pipeline and ensure performance, robustness, and scalability
• Leverage software such as Radar or Earnix to build and optimise customer pricing
• Collaborate closely with the Street Pricing Team and commercial stakeholders
• Champion research & development initiatives to enhance model sophistication
• Ensure governance compliance and pricing control standards
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, including managers

✅ About You:

• Proven leadership experience in pricing and statistical / predictive modelling
• Strong knowledge of general insurance pricing and current market trends
• Deep expertise in Radar, Earnix, or equivalent software
• Proficient in predictive modelling and optimisation
• Skilled in programming languages such as R, Python, or similar
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders
• A commercial mindset with a focus on measurable impact
• A degree in a quantitative or technical discipline
