People Operations Specialist in United Kingdom

fanvue is looking for an People Operations Specialist in United Kingdom

Job description

Fanvue is the fastest-growing creator monetisation platform in the creator economy. We are the leading AI-powered creator-first platform, designed to empower creators worldwide to directly monetise their audience. We’re on a mission to redefine the creator economy by empowering creators to connect, share, and earn more efficiently.

Our Culture & People team is growing, and we're looking for an experienced People Operations Specialist to help us build world-class employee experiences, processes, and systems as we scale. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves building structure and creating automations where it's needed, and wants to make a direct impact on how our team works and grows.

What You'll Do:

  • Own day-to-day people operations across onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle changes, documentation, and People systems
  • Maintain and optimise our People tech stack (HRIS, ATS, and many more), ensuring data is accurate and processes are smooth
  • Support employment operations across multiple countries (primarily the UK and Europe), coordinating with our EOR, payroll, and compliance partners
  • Partner on benefits, leave management, and wellbeing initiatives, making sure people have the support they need
  • Help optimise the onboarding experience and overall employee journey
  • Assist with people data reporting, audits, and process documentation
  • Collaborate on areas such as engagement, feedback loops, internal communications, and process improvements
  • Run recruitment ops smoothly, from contracts to offers to ATS, to support a high-quality hiring experience

Who You Are:

  • 2–4+ years of people operations or people/HR experience (startup/scale-up background strongly preferred)
  • Exceptionally organised: you thrive in admin-heavy work, love checklists, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes
  • Comfortable using and owning tools, from HRIS and ATS to Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with international employment, benefits, and EORs is a bonus (especially UK and EU)
  • A proactive problem-solver who loves simplifying complexity
  • Someone who thrives in remote, async-first teams and knows how to communicate clearly and efficiently
  • You care deeply about people, culture, and experience, and love exploring how automation and AI can improve how we work
  • UK-based (London preferred)

You’ll Thrive If:

  • You’re motivated by finding smart, clean ways to automate routine tasks, streamline workflows, and test AI tools to boost team efficiency
  • You take ownership and figure things out without needing hand-holding
  • You’re energised by variety, and when days are looking a little different
  • You enjoy making processes better, even if they’re already “fine”
  • You stay calm under pressure and changing priorities

You’ll Struggle If:

  • You prefer fixed processes and don’t enjoy figuring things out on your own
  • You get overwhelmed when priorities shift quickly or roles change shape
  • You wait to be told what to do, rather than taking initiative
  • You don’t enjoy admin and operational details

Why Join Fanvue?

You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment: we’re scaling fast, hiring across the board, and laying the foundations for how we build exceptional teams.

Think:

  • A high-impact role in a mission-driven, high-performance team
  • Remote-first working, with flexible hours that suit when you do your best work
  • Unlimited holiday - we trust you to manage your time and energy
  • A personal budget for growth and wellbeing
  • A culture that values innovation, ownership, excellence, and speed
  • Real opportunities to grow quickly and help shape the people engine of Fanvue
