NQ - 2 PQE Leveraged Finance Associate in London Area

An opportunity has arisen for a junior associate to join the London leveraged finance team of an elite US law firm. The practice is recognised for advising leading investment banks, credit funds, and private equity sponsors on complex, cross-border leveraged finance transactions.

This role offers exposure to high-value financings across a range of deal structures, working within a collaborative, high-performing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Advise banks, alternative lenders, and private equity sponsors on a variety of leveraged finance transactions
• Draft and negotiate loan agreements and related finance documents
• Support all aspects of deal execution, including structuring, due diligence, and closing processes
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices to deliver coordinated advice
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through high-quality service and commercial insight

Requirements:

• England & Wales qualified with up to 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a leading leveraged finance practice
• Solid experience advising on sponsor-backed or lender-side financings
• Excellent academic background
• Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and communication skills
