Graduate / Intermediate Building Surveyor

Waterloo, London, SE1

Full Time, Permanent

£28,500 – £45,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Benefits

My client is looking for a driven individual to a vibrant building surveying team in the heart of London. You will deliver high end residential and commercial projects across the capital working on an impressive client portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • As a Graduate / Intermediate Building Surveyor, you’ll be hands-on in delivering a wide range of surveying services, including:
  • Project management and contract administration (up to £3.5m+)
  • Design, specification, and oversight of maintenance works
  • Surveys: condition, pre-acquisition, reinstatement cost, and planned maintenance
  • Party Wall matters, Licence for Alterations, Insurance reinstatements
  • Working with an exciting client list in Central London


Graduate/Intermediate Building Surveyor

  • RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying (or equivalent)
  • Strong MS Office skills – especially Word and Excel
  • Basic construction and building services knowledge
  • Strong communication, literacy, and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, professional, and eager to learn
  • Bonus if you have:
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar
  • Industry placement or work experience
  • A clean driving licence
  • London-based or within a 1-hour commute
