The Role
As a ProjectWise Administrator, you will be responsible for working as ProjectWise administrator supporting global user base and Proven track record in engaging and understanding requirements, suggesting solutions or alternatives that accommodate the need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Bentley ProjectWise and related enterprise applications, including environment setup (install, test, staging, production), maintenance, upgrades, patching, and code changes.
- Broad knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Performing ProjectWise related activities such as installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the software; and staying current with updates and patches.
- Creating and maintaining projects.
- Delivering and designing configuration and enhancement needs to meet specific business requirements including workflow, rules engine, standard templates, and work properties.
- Providing end user support.
- Troubleshooting systems related to ProjectWise Infrastructure such as Windows servers, fileservers, database servers, web servers and networks.
- Coordinating installation of cache servers and liaising with Global IT subject matter experts where relevant.
- Creating and maintaining rendition profiles, managed workspaces, unmanaged profiles and ICS rendition.
- Coordinating with software SMEs on integration features and functionality.
- Integrating and running development, testing and releases.
- Assisting in ProjectWise change management tasks.
- Facilitate implementing new integration services of PW365 integrations with PWDI.
- Administrative tasks include acting as a liaison with Bentley to maintain and modify configuration in the cloud environment, along with helping develop procedures that allow users to work as a team.
- Engaged on relevant projects as SME.
- Leading the adoption of our ProjectWise and engagement with users for all aspects of their business.
- Delivering ProjectWise User and Administrator training.
Your Profile:
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Solid ProjectWise knowledge.
- Professional experience working as ProjectWise administrator supporting global user base.
- An understanding of relational databases, including administration, operation and maintenance.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Working knowledge of SQL databases and SQL scripting.
- Previous experience with Windows OS and batch scripting.
- Knowledgeable of engineering or CAD tools.
- Experience with Power Platform and SharePoint.
