Interim FP&A Lead – DeepTech scaleup (manufacturing)

Immediate startup

North London office (3 days) + 2 days WFH

Up to £700 p/d outside IR35 – 3 month assignment

Talentedge are partnering with a hardware manufacturing scaleup who operate across the DeepTech space.

You’ll be fantastic for this opportunity if you are an advanced financial modeller from an investment banking / management consultancy / corporate finance advisory background with significant experience of working with stock / inventory.

Key responsibilities to include:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive, demand-driven inventory forecasting model. Ensure procurement needs are accurately projected with a clear and auditable methodology
• Build a detailed and auditable direct twelve months cash flow projection incorporating inventory demand outputs
• Design and maintain models to track standard costing through the manufacturing process. Identify, explain, and report on variances to support cost control and efficiency initiatives.
• Build an integrated three-statement financial model (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) segmented by function and project, to support forecasting and budgeting. Reconcile direct and indirect cash flows.

Profile:

• Investment banking / management consultancy / corporate finance advisory experience
• Manufacturing / supply chain experience (can be from client side)
• Strategic and inquisitive thinker
• Mathematical and data driven in approach with strong financial modelling & presentation skills
• Effective communicator, comfortable working partnering cross-functionally
