Job description
About Thor Companies
Established back in 2012 with the aim to be a vibrant and dynamic recruitment company who genuinely understands their clients and gives back to their employees, we have since grown into a recognised global brand. With offices located in London and New York, our skilled consultants work in partnership with some of the world’s most successful companies in the mission critical sectors, with our vertical market specialisms being in Engineering, Life Sciences, and Technology.
Our team consists of diverse, determined, and resilient individuals, to whom we provide the tools and training they need to perform at their peak. They embody Thor's growth mindset and embrace a culture of lifelong learning, ensuring that we continually evolve to meet the changing needs of both our clients and candidates
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead to spearhead the Internal TA function here at Thor. Thor has positioned itself strategically in some of the world's most buoyant recruitment markets, meaning our appetite for growth is higher than ever due to the opportunity that has been created by our teams' performances. As a result, we are looking for someone with Internal TA experience who not only has the ability to head-hunt the best current and future recruitment talent in the market, but also to contribute heavily to our ongoing hiring strategy and internal processes at what is an exciting time for the company.
If you feel like your influence and impact is being stunted in your current recruitment company, and you want more of a say in the WHO and HOW of hiring in the company that you represent, we should have a discussion about how the TA Lead position at Thor could be good for you…
Duties
- Own and execute the full life-cycle of internal hiring across multiple international offices
- Build and deliver proactive talent pipeline, through various channels, for key vacancies, ensuring we attract, engage, and retain top recruitment and operational talent
- Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to define the talent acquisition strategy, aligned with wider business objectives
- Act as a brand ambassador for Thor Companies, amplifying our values, culture, and brand via various channels (such as LinkedIn and networking events)
- Lead/Mentor a small team of internal recruiters, fostering high performance and personal/professional development
- Monitor recruitment metrics and report regularly on progress to the SLT, driving continuous improvement
- Work close with and manage our relationships with external Rec2Rec partners.
- Work closely with L&D to continuously improve the candidate journey through the recruitment process, pre-onboarding, onboarding, and beyond
Our Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an Internal Talent Acquisition or R2R role, delivering into a Recruitment Agency
- Proven track record in hiring for high-growth businesses across multiple locations
- Comfortable managing/mentoring TA Consultants - Junior and/or Principal level
- Expertise in modern sourcing methods, employer branding, and recruitment technology
- Confident relationship builder with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insights
- Passion for creating excellent candidate experiences
