Energy Broker - Downstream in Greater London

Job description

We have partnered with a mid-size broker on a fantastic opportunity to join their Downstream Energy team, where you will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of global risks, providing risk management and placement advice.

Energy companies operate in a high-risk environment, often in the most hostile settings globally. There is growing pressure to provide low-emission products and invest in technological advancements, while constantly facing the challenge of maintaining profitability amid volatile oil prices.

As a Broker, you will be instrumental in delivering sound advice on clients insurance programmes, negotiating competitive terms and placing contracts that meet their needs, whilst championing company quality standards.

We are keen to speak to individuals with the following skills and experience:

• London or international market experience
• Downstream Energy risk and insurance products/solutions knowledge
• Client servicing and account development experience
• Negotiating with clients and closing contracts
• Experience drafting slips and endorsements
